BCT CNC machines aluminum, solid, and cored composite panels to customer specifications as well as panels into specific parts or products. The routers are used in the milling of masters, machining of cores, finished panels, finished parts, as well as custom cutting to customer specifications.

ANDI, "MAXXIS NC-1616 IP/PT" CNC ROUTER (5-Axis)

Our CNC 5 axis router is capable of achieving every angle, which allows us to machine with greater accuracy and speed. With the ability to angle the head, shorter cutters may be used. This maintains greater accuracy and better surface finish, reducing the need for hand finishing.

All linear axes move on precision ground rectangular ways with linear tank type bearings driven by precision ball screws with anti-backlash ball nuts. Two rotary axes utilize Heavy Duty anti-backlash gear drives; ways, ball screws and gear drives serviced by an automatic lubrication system.

CNC Machine Details

Axis travel:

  • Rotary axes are +/- 105 for the B-axis (pitch) and +/- 200 for C-axis (waist)
  • Linear axis travel is 154" for X, 86" for Y & 32" for Z

Machine Specs:

  • Twin 63" x 63" moving tables,
  • Heavy Duty stationary bridge machine with a single zone vacuum plenum per table. Twin tables may operate independently for load/unload on one table while the other is in process, or together as one large work area.

CNC ROUTER (3-Axis)

The 3-Axis router is unique in that it is 42 feet in length, ideal for the machining of large panels into customer specified parts.

Machine Specs:

  • Overall size 8 feet by 42 feet
  • Cutting area 6' 2"(X) by 39'8"(Y) by 7"(Z)
  • Dust collection system and vacuum hoist system

Spindles/Heads:

  • Variable speed router with numerous diamond tipped bits for machining of composite materials
  • Drill head with numerous diamond tipped drill bits for composite drilling
  • 12" diameter saw with diamond blade for panel cutting
  • All machining and cutting is done with diamond tipped or coated bits and blades.
